About Jennifer

I’ve dealt with chronic health issues my entire life; migraines, fatigue, back pain, depression, anxiety, brain fog, and more.

Despite my health struggles, I built a successful business. After graduating from culinary school in 2010, I worked as a recipe developer and food photographer for over a decade. I taught cooking classes. I wrote a weekly newsletter for The Washington Post, and published a cookbook called The Gourmet Kitchen. Despite all of that, health issues and negative self-talk left me feeling very unhappy.

In my mid-30s, I was diagnosed with ADHD. As I began researching symptoms, everything in my life began making more sense. It was liberating. I also learned how much healthy habits can improve ADHD symptoms. I began making changes to my own habits and noticed a difference almost immediately.

I also began working with life and wellness coaches. As I continued to experience breakthroughs during sessions, I realized what a powerful tool coaching can be.

In 2021, I sold my food business and became a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) through iPEC (The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching), an ICF-accredited training program. I’m also a PN L1 Nutrition Coach. I was certified by Precision Nutrition in 2023.

Today, I help women brainstorm and create realistic, long-term action plans to improve ADHD symptoms through balancing their physical and emotional health. I coach clients on the limiting beliefs, assumptions, and negative self-talk that might be preventing change and contributing to these symptoms. I provide support and accountability. I also use my culinary skills to teach clients how to cook healthy meals without a recipe.

My symptoms haven’t entirely vanished. That would be unrealistic. However, I’ve taken my power back by prioritizing my physical, emotional and mental health. My symptoms have dramatically improved, and I feel so much better. I’d like to share that gift with you.
